We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our dedicated team and help continue our tradition of excellence.
Role Overview:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with department heads, staff, and guests to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel management, including overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Ensure all hotel standards, policies, and procedures are consistently upheld.
Work with the heads of departments (Housekeeping, Restaurant, Reception, etc.) to monitor and improve performance.
Assist in staff training and development to maintain high service standards.
Handle guest complaints and feedback, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to the guest's satisfaction.
Manage the hotel's reputation and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
Oversee financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting to the General Manager.
Maintain health and safety standards throughout the property.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a management role within the luxury hotel or hospitality sector.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting.
