We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our dedicated team and help continue our tradition of excellence.

 

Role Overview:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with department heads, staff, and guests to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth hotel operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel management, including overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Ensure all hotel standards, policies, and procedures are consistently upheld.

  • Work with the heads of departments (Housekeeping, Restaurant, Reception, etc.) to monitor and improve performance.

  • Assist in staff training and development to maintain high service standards.

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to the guest's satisfaction.

  • Manage the hotel's reputation and maintain strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.

  • Oversee financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting to the General Manager.

  • Maintain health and safety standards throughout the property.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a management role within the luxury hotel or hospitality sector.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting.
